Its my birthday…again!
Normally I’d be ready to party, except I’m still mourning the Alabama
loss last night. Me and Daddy are die
hard Bama fans and we both feel like our hearts got ripped out. Despite the loss, I’ve had a wonderful 4th
month of life! We moved into my new castle, I’ve got more places to fill up
with toys, and I’m still cute.
Seriously, why do they dress me up in this stuff? I'm not a doll |
The highlight of my month was my first Thanksgiving! I’m not sure what the hype is all about
because I don’t eat solid food yet, but I did get tons of clothes from Mimi and
I got to spend the night with grandpa & Monica and Mimi! That means 2
nights with no parental units! Bingo!
After Thanksgiving I got to hang with my cousins William and
Sarah. They came all the way from Tampa
to play with me! William is fun, but he doesn’t really play, all he cares about
is eating M&Ms. But Sarah… she’s my favorite! We played together almost the entire day!
She’s only a wee bit bigger than me, but that doesn’t bother me—I could eat her
now if I really wanted to.
Sarah is so pretty- she even poses for pictures |
In other exciting news, I can now blow bubbles!! It’s pretty fun, except when I end up
spitting up all over myself. Wanna see
how I do it? Check out the video
below.
I’ve also invented a new game since the pacifier game no
longer works….I call it, Babbling Baby.
This is how it works- mom and dad put me down to sleep for the
night. I pretend to sleep for about 2
hours. Right when they go to bed and get
comfortable, I start babbling- babbling VERY loud. So loud that the monitor goes crazy. It’s not really a cry, or a giggle…it’s more
just like talking to myself. This forces
Mom or Dad to run upstairs to put my pacifier back in my mouth to shut me
up. Repeat until Mom goes crazy and lets
me sleep on the couch with her.
My other game is a show stopper!! Every now and then, when I feel like Mom and
Dad aren’t paying enough attention to me while I sleep, I like to roll off the
monitor pad which causes an alarm to go off.
Mom and Dad think I’ve stopped breathing, so they rush upstairs faster
than a kid in a candy store to check on me.
It always gets their heart pounding….and gives me more attention. Mission accomplished. So all those babies out there, enjoy playing
my games. Hope you can have the success
I’ve had with them.
Next month I hear some guy named Santa is going to visit and
bring me toys…but only if I stop playing my naughty games. We’ll see about that- I’ll just turn on the
charm.
Hope everyone has a wonderful December!
I’ll stay cute,
LUKE
