1 year birthday!!!!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!! Can you people believe I’m a ONE YEAR OLD?!?!?!?! Its unbelievable!!! I have grown so much, and even more has happened in such a short amount of time!

The big news of my birthday is how HUGE I am!! I am 23lbs 7.5oz and 30.75” long – which are both in the 90^th percentile! BOOOOOOM!!! I can basically to everything my big brother can do, minus the whole talking thing. I like to communicate by screaming louder and louder, until someone notices me. I’m also really good at climbing, running, and eating mulch. Next month I get my second sent of ear tubs. I’ve always heard “second time is a charm”…which is pretty much true considering I’m the second born. Wink wink.

My birthday party was a BLAST!!! Everyone in the world came to celebrate ME! We had a bounce house, face painting, balloon making, cake, cookies, and Chick-Fil-A nuggets…what more could a kid ask for? The only slight down side was that I had an eye infection, so I didn’t get to enjoy all the fun…but I did love to see everyone playing!!! I asked for books instead of toys, and boy did people deliver!! We love reading books and now I finally have brand new books all to myself! No more Luke handy-downs with slobber and buggers in the book!!!

In other news, I got to celebrate my first Valentine’s Day! I gave my favorite girlfriends (other than Mom of course), Lauren and Linlee some candy, and celebrated by stealing all of Luke's candy and running. I also took a trip with Mom to Tampa!! We had a blast and I got to be babied all weekend by Sarah!!! Mom ran a ½ marathon with Aunt Ann and a few friends down by the bay, while I got to sleep in and play with Grandma and Papa. Luke stayed back in Birmingham with Scott and did man things. Also this month, our kitchen cabinets got painted, so we had a slumber party at Mimi’s for TWO days!!!!! It was better than a vacation! We got to eat Cheetos and fruit gummies for every meal!!

While this was after my birthday, it is still newsworthy- Mom, Dad, and Luke took a trip to Big Sky and set me to Mimi’s house for an entire week! I begged and pleated with them to never return for me, but they came back. Mimi and I had so much fun together. Our days mainly consist of eating, taking baths, and sitting outside with the neighbor girls. Maybe next ski season they’ll send me to Mimi’s again….

It’s been quiet a year folks. I came into this world with a big bang and I like to think that the excitement hasn’t stopped!! I’ve enjoying writing this blog and I hope mom lets Luke and I keep writing…because obviously, we have a lot to say. Thank you for coming along for the ride!!

Happy 11-month Birthday to MEEEEE!!!!!! Did you hear that folks…that’s the sound of a baby about to turn into a big kid in one short month!! Mom said she’s even started to plan my birthday party! I told her that its going to take longer than one month to plan the biggest birthday the world has ever seen…she didn’t listen.

I must start off by telling everyone how wonderfully amazing my last month was! Mom and Dad took a vacation to Big Sky so I got to spend 9 days…NINE DAYS!!!... in MimiLand (aka, Mimi’s house). It was beyond amazing. I got to sleep in, eat nonstop, got all of Mimi’s attention, played with Papoose, got new clothes, and had a small glimpse of what its like to be an only child. I have come to the conclusion, that I kinda like having a big brother. While he does push me and take my toys, without him, I don’t have anyone to blame all the mischievous things I do. So, I guess I’ll keep him around, But it was fun being an only child for 9 days!

While I stayed with Mimi, Luke flew to Tampa and stayed with Grandma and Papa. He lived the good life with them—took too him to Busch Gardens, swim lessons, playdates at the park with Sarah, taught him how ride the scooter, took him to the YMCA, and most of all, he got to eat Hamburger Helper!!!! I can’t wait for Grandma to cook Hamburger Helper for me! Sarah and William talk about how amazing it is nonstop!

In other news, this month mom & dad took Luke to the circus! He said he had fun and got to ride a lion, but I doubt it. Luke tends to over exaggerate when I’m not around. But I do know he ate a years worth of sugar.

My stats continue to be the same- still huge- still eats everything – still walk around town like I own the place. The main difference is that my hair is growing more! I have a couple baby curls in the back.

10 Month Birthday!

10- months old baby!!! Its safe to say that this month has been the best month of my life! Santa was good to me, I got to play in Tampa for a long time, gained some more weight, learned how to walk, said my first word, oh, did I mention that Santa was good to me? Maybe I should elaborate, Santa LOVES me!!!

My month started out pretty awesome. Its been unseasonably warm here in Birmingham, so mom lets us play outside all day long! In the middle of the month, we got to open gifts from Mom & Dad early. Luke got bunches of toys and I got clothes, food, and a ball. Clearly mom knows that I just steal all of Luke’s toys anyways.

Then we headed off to Tampa for Christmas with Grandma, Papa, Uncle John, Aunt Ann, Cousin Susan, Sarah and William!!! What a gang! There was so much action going on the entire time, hardly anyone noticed when I was getting into mischief. I broke one of Grandma’s snowman nicknacks, tore out every light plugged into the wall, and unwrapped gifts when no one was watching. I also managed to get Hand-Foot-Mouth disease, but that didn’t slow me down!!

Luke and I were such good kids that Santa left us gifts in Tampa AND Birmingham!! Guess he forgave Luke for drawling with Sharpie on Mom and Dad’s walls…

Besides the whole Christmas thing, the most exciting thing this month is learning how to walk!!!! I can walk over 10 steps without falling!! Give me a few more days and i'll be keeping up with Luke! I also said my first word “Dada” of course. He’s my favorite person. I continue to be the fastest crawler in the south and can eat double my body weight in one sitting.

No shots this month! So I don’t know my height and weight….I can only guess that I’m still on my way to becoming Daddy Jr.

Next month I get to spend 10 days with Mimi!! Mom & Dad are taking a vacation without me and Luke – how lame is that- so I get to sleep over at Mimi’s and Luke gets to stay with Grandma & Papa in Tampa! This is going to be awesome!!
